# Integrations Introduction

Gamopanda integrations connect your platform to streaks, challenges, missions and rewards without building everything yourself. Pick a native integration for your platform, or use the [REST API](/api-introduction) to build your own.

## How integrations work

1. **Send activity**: the integration sends member activity (orders, logins, actions) to Gamopanda.
2. **Track progress**: Gamopanda updates streak, challenge and mission progress and issues rewards when milestones are reached.
3. **Display progress**: the [End User Display](/end-user-display-introduction) shows members their progress and rewards.
4. **React to events**: [Notifications](/notification) and [Webhooks](/webhook) keep members and your systems up to date.

## Building a custom integration

If your platform isn't listed, you can integrate directly:

- Use the [REST API](/api-introduction) to create members and record activity.
- Embed the End User Display with the [JavaScript Integration](/javascript-integration).
- Generate an [Access Token](/access-token) on your backend to show personalised progress.
- Subscribe to [Webhooks](/webhook) to react to Gamopanda events in your own systems.
